POWDER BROWS
Powder brows are a semi-permanent cosmetic pigmentation technique that uses a digital machine to create a soft, shaded effect. Unlike microblading, which uses hairs, this technique results in a soft, made-up feel, similar to the look achieved with eyebrow powders or pencils. The treatment starts with a lighter shade at the front of the brow and fades to a darker shade at the back for a natural gradient. Specially blended pigments are selected to match your natural brow color and complement your skin tone.

How long do Powder brows last?
Proper aftercare is crucial for the longevity of your powder brows. Following the instructions can significantly affect how long the results last.
Exposure to UV rays can cause the pigment to fade faster. Protecting your brows from the sun by wearing a hat or sunscreen can help extend the life of your brows.
Using products with harsh chemicals, exfoliants, or retinoids around your brows can cause the pigment to fade faster. Avoid applying harsh products to your brows. Only use products recommended by your artist.
Activities that affect the lifespan of your brows include excessive sweating, such as intense exercise or sauna bathing. Moderately engaging in these activities can help keep your brows looking fresh.
If you notice significant fading or uneven color after 12 to 18 months, it's time for a touch-up. Touch-ups not only refresh the color, but also allow you to make any necessary adjustments to the shape and fullness of your brows.

How does the treatment work?
Consultation & Eyebrow Shaping: This treatment begins with a consultation where we assess your facial features and discuss your desired brow look and ensure you are medically cleared (read before treatment eyebrows) and have followed our pre-treatment preparation steps. We shape and style your eyebrows to complement your natural structure. A specially blended pigment is selected to match your natural or desired brow color, after carefully considering your current skin tone and which pigment will best ensure a natural result.
Powder brow application: During the application we do shading with a machine and color the brow surface with precision tools to mimic the feel of makeup. The process usually takes up to 150 minutes, and an anesthetic is applied for your comfort. The result is a very natural and realistic look that highlights your brows in the most subtle way. You will receive instructions for the best aftercare of your brows. We recommend aftercare ointment for cosmetic pigmentation and shampoo which are available for purchase at the clinic.
The Fill: Poweder brows is a two-visit process. A fill visit is recommended 4-6 weeks after your first treatment to assess healing and fill in any areas as needed. This ensures that your brows heal beautifully and last longer. You are responsible for booking your fill appointment. If you cannot find a time that suits you, please contact us via text or email.
What can you expect after the treatment?
The brows may look reddish and/or darker during the first week.
Expect some peeling and crusting as the skin heals. Avoid picking and be sure to use the recommended aftercare ointment.
The tattoo may look lighter after the dead skin has been removed. Your eyebrows will begin to even out as the pigment settles into the skin. Final results will be clearly visible after about 4-6 weeks. Then it's time for your follow-up!
Follow-up is important, especially if you are not completely satisfied with the results. Adjustments can be made once the eyebrows have healed. It is advisable to make a possible adjustment approximately 4-6 weeks after the first treatment, and then again every 12 months when a refill or color correction will be needed if you want to maintain the same results.
If you do not return after about 4–6 weeks, the opportunity to make adjustments and get the best possible results will be lost.
At your follow-up visits, we will evaluate your skin's reaction to the treatment and make any necessary adjustments (such as lightening spots). We will also make sure that the color, texture, and shape look amazing!
After any adjustment and/or refilling, it is important that you follow our advice for aftercare.
Is cosmetic pigmentation painful?
Customers claim that getting a cosmetic pigmentation treatment is not painful, but it can be a little uncomfortable depending on the area being tattooed. We usually use numbing solutions to reduce the pain.
Is cosmetic pigmentation safe?
Because cosmetic pigmentation involves making small incisions on the skin, a new pigmentation is an open wound and is prone to infection if not treated properly. To avoid complications, it is important to follow the aftercare tips, and some of the most important rules are that wearing makeup is strictly prohibited during the healing process.
Although extremely rare, there may be an immediate or delayed allergic reaction to the pigment. A negative patch test result does not guarantee that you will not develop an allergic reaction after the entire procedure. Allergic reactions to anesthetics may occur. Infections may occur if aftercare instructions are not followed correctly. Swelling and redness and/or itching may occur after the treatment. Experience shows that these symptoms are transient. You may experience minor bleeding.
If you have an MRI scan within 3 months of the cosmetic pigmentation procedure, you should notify/discuss with your doctor. Possible scarring may occur.
Old pigmentation
Cosmetic pigmentation has been around for a very long time. That means there are people who have work that is over 10 years old. As we age, things change with our skin and the pigments in our skin change. While some people experience a gradual fading of their permanent makeup, other people's skin holds onto the pigment. While you may be able to cover up old work a few times, there comes a point when it's better to erase and think again. There are so many reasons why people want to remove it: maybe the tail is just too long, or the shape isn't perfect for you anymore. Maybe your hair color has changed, and your eyebrows are too dark now?
The challenge is whether to get a removal or cover up the old work with pigment. A tattoo removal ensures that the old pigment in the skin can be removed or lightened and you get a new chance to start over.
If you choose to cover your brows, the artist would try to neutralize the color. This is not an exact science as the artist does not know what color or brand your previous work was.
We cannot guarantee the results of corrective/cover-up work. If the previous tattoo is too dark, large or discolored, removal is recommended before booking a new cosmetic tattoo to achieve the best results. Corrective/cover-up work generally requires multiple sessions for the best results and additional touch-ups will be charged accordingly.
